Responsibilities
- Mentor young people and model skills that will help them successfully minimize the negative impact of behavioral health issues.
- Engage clients through youth-friendly, culturally appropriate, and youth empowerment approaches.
- Participate in the implementation of tailored supports and services to be individualized, developmentally appropriate, appealing, non-stigmatizing, traumainformed, and relevant to each young person.
- Teach and reinforce social, daily living, and community functioning skills as relevant to a young person through role play skill development and practice.
- Able to maintain a flexible work schedule to meet the needs of individuals served.
Qualifications
- Minimum High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Valid driver license and provision of transportation, insurance, and the ability to use your vehicle for work.
- Experience working with individuals having behavioral health and/or developmental needs.
