Respite Care

Location: varies (travel to families’ homes) • Start date: ASAP

Pay range: $20–$22 per hour + sibling-care bonuses + guaranteed mileage reimbursements (up to $25 an hour)

Responsibilities

• Engage directly with children: play, read, do arts & crafts, and other hands-on activities in families’ homes

Requirements

• At least one year of childcare or nanny experience
• Two to three childcare references
• Part-time schedules (12–30 hours per week); weekday afternoons and weekends are the biggest need
• Reliable, insured transportation to travel to various family homes; may include drop-off/pickup for activities during shifts
• Cell phone with data to accept and record assignments
