Respiratory Therapy, Nights Fulltime

About the role

Provides respiratory care to patients. Completes established competencies for the position within designated introductory period. Other related duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited AMA Respiratory Care Program
• Possession of current RCP State of Texas License
• Possession of current CRT / RRT Certification from NBRC (Renewal required every 5 years unless grandfathered prior to July 1, 2002)
• Active healthcare provider Basic Life Support on hire (ARC or AHA); must obtain AHA Healthcare Provider BLS within 60 days of hire
• AHA ACLS must be completed within 60 days of hire or transfer into role
• AHA PALS must be completed within 60 days of hire or transfer into role if covering pediatrics
• AHA NRP must be completed within 60 days of hire or transfer into role if covering NICU

Qualifications

• Minimum experience: None
• Preferred experience: Some experience in respiratory care or related area
