About the role

We are seeking a Full Time Respiratory Therapist to join our dedicated team at Community Hospital. Our C.A.R.E.S. values guide us in providing compassionate care and a comprehensive benefits package.

Responsibilities

  • Provide services, timely and efficiently, at appropriate levels to all patients in all settings served by the department.
  • Perform tasks and duties as outlined in the Cardiopulmonary Services Department Policy and Procedure Manual.
  • Afford assistance in administrative tasks and maintain clinical competencies through participation in educational and orientation programs.
  • Work as a team member within the entire facility in accordance to the mission, vision, and values of the Hospital and accept other duties as assigned to maintain the quality of service to the patient.
  • This position may require working weekends, evening or night shifts, flex schedules, and be "on call."

Qualifications

  • CRT: License – State of Oklahoma as a Respiratory Care Practitioner. Certification by NBRC as CRT required and maintained. Graduate of Respiratory Care Program accredited by the Committee on Accreditation for Respiratory Care (CoARC) or equivalent education required. One year experience required – post graduation. BLS Healthcare required within 30 days of hire. ACLS and PALS required within 120 days of hire. Certifications must remain current during length of employment.
  • RRT: License – State of Oklahoma as a Respiratory Care Practitioner. Certification by NBRC as RRT required & maintained. Graduate of Respiratory Care Program accredited by the Committee on Accreditation for Respiratory Care (CoARC) or equivalent education required. Associate Degree of Applied Science as Respiratory Therapist or equivalent required. One year experience required – post graduation. BLS Healthcare required within 30 days of hire. ACLS and PALS required within 120 days of hire. Certifications must remain current during length of employment.
