Respiratory Therapist - Full Time Nights

About the role

Respiratory Therapist II responsible for delivering complex respiratory care, medication administration, and patient assessment, primarily in critical care settings.

Responsibilities

• Manage ventilators
• Perform airway procedures
• Analyze arterial blood gases
• Educate patients and staff
• Collaborate with healthcare teams to develop and implement care plans
• Ensure patient safety
• Promote quality care
• Participate in performance improvement initiatives

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited respiratory therapy program with minimum 20 science hours
• Associate's degree required; bachelor's preferred
• Must hold certifications including RRT, RCPT, BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NRP

Experience & Skills

• 0-2 years of clinical experience with at least 6 months in critical care
• Strong communication, critical thinking, teamwork, and computer skills are essential
