About the Role
The Respiratory Therapist II provides advanced respiratory care, including medication administration, ventilator management, and patient assessment in complex care settings, primarily critical care areas.
Responsibilities
- Deliver patient-focused respiratory care
- Collaborate with healthcare teams
- Educate patients and staff
- Ensure safety and quality standards
- Participate in procedures and airway management
- Perform arterial blood gas analysis
- Support performance improvement initiatives
Requirements
- Graduation from an accredited respiratory therapy program
- Certifications: RRT, RCPT, BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NRP
- 0-2 years of clinical experience, including at least 6 months in critical care
