Respiratory Therapist - Travel position- McLeod Health
About the role
The Mcleod Health Resource Pool offers an alternative work model where you can control your schedule to fit your lifestyle. You can float between four or six McLeod Hospital locations for $45/hr. or $50/hr., respectively, with shifts every 6 weeks, or you can take a long-term assignment for $25/hr. plus a $1,080 stipend each week or $55/hr., also with a $1,080 stipend each week. To qualify for the long-term assignment, you must live 50 miles or greater from the assigned facility.
Responsibilities
- Broaden your work experience by floating among several McLeod facilities.
- Take a long-term assignment, working at least one assignment every 6 months.
- Accrued shift differentials based on evening (3p-11p), night (11p-7a), and weekend (Friday 3p-Monday 7a) hours.
Requirements
- Must have 2 years of current Respiratory Therapy (RT) experience.
Qualifications
Candidates must have a valid South Carolina license to practice as a Respiratory Therapist.
Skills
- Strong communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Knowledge of respiratory care procedures and equipment.
Benefits
Shift differentials are accrued on top of base hourly rates listed above. Evening 3p-11p = $1.50/hr., Nights 11p-7a = $2.50/hr., Weekend begins Friday 3p to Monday 7a = $3.00/hr.
Pay
- $45/hr. for 4 McLeod Hospital locations.
- $50/hr. for 6 McLeod Hospital locations.
- $25/hr. plus $1,080 stipend for long-term assignments.
- $55/hr. plus $1,080 stipend for long-term assignments.
Schedule
- Shifts every 6 weeks for 4 McLeod Hospital locations.
- Shifts every 6 weeks for 6 McLeod Hospital locations.
- At least one assignment every 6 months for long-term assignments.
