Responsibilities
- Supervise daily staff activities for Cardiopulmonary services.
- Perform staff responsibilities as needed to meet service levels.
- Lead the handling and resolution of complex issues and complaints.
- Assess quality of services delivered and facilitate staff development programs.
- Ensure staff compliance with departmental and organizational policies, procedures, and protocols.
- Provide direction, orientation, training, coaching, and mentoring to staff.
- Aid in performance evaluations and disciplinary actions.
- Determine, coordinate, and supervise daily staffing assignments and levels.
Requirements
- Accredited Program: Respiratory Therapy (Required)
- ACLS American Heart E-Card (ACLS AHA ECARD)
- ACLS American Heart RQI E-Card (ACLS AHA-RQI ECARD)
- BLS American Heart E-Card (BLS AHA ECARD)
- BLS American Heart RQI E-Card (BLS AHA-RQI ECARD)
- ACLS Certification (ACLS RC)
- BLS Certification (BLS GRACE)
- Registered Respiratory Therapist (RT LICENSE) - State of Florida (FL)
- Certified Respiratory Therapist (TT LICENSE) - State of Florida (FL)
Qualifications

- Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) for NICU
- Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) for Pediatric areas

Additional Job Information
The position can be licensed as RT or TT. National Board for Respiratory Care (NBRC) is preferred.
