What You'll Make an Impact In
Create work schedules, coordinate and supervise daily staffing assignments and staffing levels. Train, coach, and evaluate assigned staff on performance expectations. Intubate and perform arterial line placement. Provides care to patients requiring respiratory care services.
Minimum Requirements
- Licensure / Certification / Registration: BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
- Respiratory Care Practitioner credentialed from the Wisconsin Medical Examining Board obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.
- Advanced Life Support preferred. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
- Certification specializing in Neonatal Resuscitation credentialed from the American Academy of Pediatrics (AAP) preferred.
- Education: High School diploma equivalency with 2 years of cumulative experience OR Associate's degree/Technical degree with 1 year of experience OR 5 years of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.
Additional Preferences
- PFT experience
- RRT registration by the National Board of Respiratory Care
- PALS certification
