Responsibilities
- Oversee the overall clinical, technical, and administrative functions of the Home Respiratory Therapist program at the assigned location.
- Install/deliver respiratory therapy equipment and supplies to patients; conduct ongoing assessments of patients and equipment.
- Maintain clinical contact with physicians, healthcare practitioners, and others involved in patient care.
- Maintain accurate records, including charting, progress notes, clinical files, equipment records, and preventative maintenance documentation.
- Manage inventory of all company assets and supplies.
- Oversee vehicle maintenance and service (company-paid) and ensure compliance with accreditation standards.
- Update all pertinent demographic information regularly and with any changes in personal or professional status.
- Ensure compliance with all applicable regulatory rules and guidelines for respiratory therapy staff.
- Provide orientation and training for subordinate or newly hired respiratory therapy staff and service technicians.
- Demonstrate effective written and verbal communication skills; adhere to cost-containment policies.
- Collaborate with office staff to ensure prompt and accurate billing and documentation, meeting third-party payor guidelines.
- Promote and market home respiratory therapy services to referral sources in coordination with clinical, managerial, and sales staff.
- Ensure proper, accurate, and safe operation of all equipment before installation.
- Provide availability for patient contact and response to patient needs.
- Work with team members (other RTs, PCCs, and departments) to complete tasks and assist with patient follow-up (Sleep Coach) as required.

Physical Demands
- Frequently lift and/or move up to 10 pounds.

Work Environment
This role requires visiting patient homes and/or facilities to set up and service medical devices.
Requirements
- Medical or respiratory therapy experience.
- A valid Respiratory Therapist license in the state of practice (if applicable).
Schedule
Generally expected to be available during normal business hours, Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Work hours may vary week to week.
