About the role

Performs the day-to-day activities of the Respiratory Services Department and all of its satellites under general supervision and according to established policies and procedures, concentrating in those specialty areas where certification has been obtained by the National Board of Respiratory Care. Performs patient assessment and conducts prescribed therapeutic procedures and implements appropriate modalities accordingly. Collaborates with multidisciplinary team members to achieve optimal patient outcomes consistent with evidence-based practice.

Requirements

  • Licensed as a Respiratory Therapist in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania.
  • AHA BLS required prior to orientation completion.

Qualifications

Preferred:

  • Excellent communication skills.
  • RRT credential awarded by the NBRC preferred to start, required within 90 days of hire.
