About the role

The Respiratory Therapist (RRT) provides critical respiratory care in an acute care setting, including administering treatments, managing ventilators, performing pulmonary diagnostics, and implementing patient-specific care plans.

Responsibilities

• Administer respiratory treatments and manage ventilators
• Perform pulmonary diagnostics
• Implement and follow patient-specific care plans
• Document care provided
• Respond to emergencies
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams
• Serve as Lead RCP during shifts (potential)

Requirements

• Valid State RCP license
• Current BCLS certification
• RRT certification from NBRC
• High school diploma (required)
• Associate or bachelor’s degree (preferred)
• 2 years of experience (preferred)

Preferred Qualifications

• ACLS certification
• PALS certification
• NRP certification
