About the role
The Respiratory Therapist (RRT) provides critical respiratory care in an acute care setting, including administering treatments, managing ventilators, performing pulmonary diagnostics, and developing patient-specific care plans.
Responsibilities
- Respond to emergencies
- Document care in EMR
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams
- Serve as Lead RCP during shifts
Requirements
- Valid State RCP license
- NBRC RRT certification
- Current BCLS certification
- ACLS certification (within 60 days of hire)
- 2 years of experience preferred
Preferred Qualifications
- NRP and PALS certifications
- Associate or bachelor’s degree
