Responsibilities
- Provide high quality respiratory therapy services for children and adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities.
- Manage acute and chronic respiratory problems.
- Maintain appropriate documentation and communicate effectively.
- Work as a team to ensure high quality health services to each person served.
- Assist with training / mentoring of new Respiratory Therapist staff as assigned.
- Complete checklists, incident reports, data collection, monthly summaries.
- Demonstrate respect, trust, and confidentiality regarding persons served, families, and co-workers.
- Perform other related duties as requested by the direct supervisor.
Requirements
- Registered / Certified Respiratory Therapist.
- Current Ohio state license of active status.
- Associate or bachelor's degree in respiratory therapy from an AMA-approved school.
- BCLS certification – free training / recertification provided.
- Experience in chronic care and ventilators, and knowledge of intellectual and developmental disabilities, preferred.

- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends.

- Knowledge of respiratory therapy techniques and equipment.
