Respiratory Therapist (RT) Pediatric to Adult

Hattie Larlham is a not-for-profit disability service organization providing care and support to over 1,600 children and adults throughout Ohio. Responsibilities

• Provide high quality respiratory therapy services for children and adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities.
• Manage acute and chronic respiratory problems.
• Maintain appropriate documentation and communicate effectively.
• Work as a team to ensure high quality health services to each person served.
• Assist with training / mentoring of new Respiratory Therapist staff as assigned.
• Complete checklists, incident reports, data collection, monthly summaries.
• Demonstrate respect, trust, and confidentiality regarding persons served, families, and co-workers.
• Perform other related duties as requested by the direct supervisor.

Requirements

• Registered / Certified Respiratory Therapist.
• Current Ohio state license of active status.
• Associate or bachelor's degree in respiratory therapy from an AMA-approved school.
• BCLS certification – free training / recertification provided.
• Experience in chronic care and ventilators, and knowledge of intellectual and developmental disabilities, preferred.

• Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends.
