About the role

Join our Pediatric Respiratory Therapy team to provide specialized, child-focused care in a unique pediatric skilled nursing environment.

Responsibilities

The Respiratory Therapist (RT) assesses, treats, and manages pediatric patients with breathing or cardiopulmonary issues by performing diagnostic tests, administering therapies such as oxygen and aerosol medications, monitoring progress, and educating families on lung condition management.

• Conducting patient evaluations and developing treatment plans in collaboration with physicians.
• Delivering respiratory therapies and teaching self-care practices.
• Maintaining and calibrating equipment, monitoring vital signs, and providing emergency care when needed.
• Ensuring effective communication with patients, families, and team members.

Qualifications

A valid CRT or RRT credential, associate's degree in respiratory therapy, and preferably one year of experience in a healthcare setting.

Requirements

• No supervisory responsibilities.

• Requires good mobility, dexterity, and ability to work in varied environmental conditions.

Schedule
