Respiratory Therapist RRT - Part Time - Days

Position: Respiratory Therapist - RRT Location: Highland Park Hospital, IL Type: Part Time, 20 hours/week Hourly Pay Range: $33.16 - $51.40, based on experience and expertise Sign-On Bonus: $5,000 Key Responsibilities: Provide respiratory therapy to patients across all age groups as ordered by physiciansAssess patients to determine appropriate treatment methodsDocument treatments, equipment maintenance, and quality control activitiesCommunicate treatment plans effectively to patients and familiesMonitor patient responses to therapy, with special attention to pediatric and neonatal patientsEducate patients and staff on respiratory care practices Qualifications & Skills: Graduation from an accredited Respiratory Therapy program (required)Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) or registry eligible (required)State licensure as a Respiratory Care Practitioner within 6 months of employmentCurrent CPR certification (required), with ACLS, NRP, and PALS certifications within 24 months Benefits: Includes incentive plans, shift differentials, tuition reimbursement, medical/dental/vision coverage, retirement options, paid time off, wellness programs, and community involvement opportunities.
