Respiratory Therapist RRT - Part Time - Days

Role: Respiratory Therapist - RRT Responsibilities: Provide respiratory therapy to patients of all ages, assess and determine appropriate treatment methods, document activities, and communicate clearly with patients and families. Monitor physiological responses, especially in neonatal and pediatric patients, and educate staff and patients. Qualifications & Skills: Graduation from an accredited Respiratory Therapy program, registered or registry-eligible status, Illinois licensure within 6 months, CPR certification, and additional certifications like ACLS, NRP, and PALS within 24 months. Ability to assess, communicate effectively, and provide quality patient care. Key Duties: Administer treatments, evaluate patient responses, document procedures, maintain equipment, and ensure compliance with hospital policies. Provide education and support to patients and staff.
