About the role

Full-time Registered Respiratory Therapist responsible for assessing and delivering patient respiratory care using evidence-based practices and state-of-the-art equipment.

Responsibilities

• Performing thorough patient assessments, establishing care plans, and communicating with the healthcare team.
• Administering therapeutic modalities such as aerosolized medications, oxygen therapy, and secretion management.
• Managing mechanical ventilators and assisting with airway management in emergent situations.
• Collecting arterial blood gases, supporting fiberoptic bronchoscopy procedures, and aiding in invasive monitoring.
• Ensuring safety standards and regulatory compliance while maintaining patient confidentiality.
• Providing patient and family education on disease management and participating in intra-hospital patient transport.

Qualifications

Graduate from Specialty Training Program (required).

Skills

Ability to perform and document assessments, procedures, and emergency interventions. Strong communication, teamwork, and adherence to safety standards.

Schedule

The role involves a D/N shift rotation, every other weekend and holiday work, and requires a collaborative approach with leadership and multidisciplinary teams. The environment emphasizes professional growth, community involvement, and a commitment to safety and excellence.
