About the Role

- Rate: $52/hour
- PRN status employees, subject to first call-off

- Shifts may vary based on department needs
Responsibilities
- Demonstrate proficiency in all modalities of Respiratory Care and other multidisciplinary assigned skills as defined by training and competency demonstration
- Execute assignments in compliance with hospital and respiratory policies
- May work with Respiratory Students in the clinical care setting
Requirements
- All seasonal candidates must work a minimum of 72 hours per pay period during the seasonal period
- Four (4) weekend shifts are required each 4-week schedule period
- During the 32-week period, employee is required to work two (2) holiday shifts (defined by Department Manager or designee)
- Within a close geography, you may be asked to float to another facility that has an emergent staffing need
- No travel required
- No experience required
- Current FT/PT & PRN employees are not eligible to join the Seasonal program for 2026–27 with the exception of RNs that participated in the Seasonal program in the previous year
- Current employees of HWS are not eligible for the seasonal program
- Seasonal Staff are not eligible for extra shift bonuses (D1/CND or D2/ECD)
- Registered Nurses in the Seasonal program will have one opportunity to pass the clinical competency evaluation
Qualifications
- Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
- Respiratory Therapist/Practitioner (RRT/RCP-State)
- Certified Respiratory Therapist (NBRC-CRT) or Registered Respiratory Therapist (NBRC-RRT)
