Respiratory Therapist - Pediatric Respiratory Unit - Weekly Pay

About the role

This position is for an experienced allied health professional specializing in neonatal and pediatric care, involving night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM. The role requires floatability across multiple units within a children’s hospital, including NICU, PICU, and pediatric emergency services.

Responsibilities

• Provide specialized neonatal and pediatric patient care in high-acuity settings.
• Utilize advanced equipment such as Bunnell Jet Ventilator and HFOV 3100A.
• Adapt to various units as needed, ensuring comprehensive patient support.
• Maintain compliance with certifications and health requirements, including flu vaccination.

Qualifications

• Minimum 12 months of relevant experience, including recent practice.
• Level IV NICU experience required; cardiac PICU and teaching hospital experience preferred.
• Valid license; any license hits must be approved prior to onboarding.
• Certifications: BLS, PALS, NRP (8th Edition), RRT, RRT-ACCS.

Schedule

Candidates should be flexible with scheduling, including holidays, and able to work in all hospital units. Pre-employment modules and documentation are required for onboarding. References and proof of identification are mandatory. The assignment involves night shifts, with options for 36 or 48 hours per week, lasting approximately 26 weeks.
