Respiratory Therapist - Pediatric Respiratory Unit - Weekly Pay

About the role

We are seeking an experienced allied health professional for a travel assignment requiring critical care and respiratory care expertise. The role involves floating to multiple units, including pediatric and neonatal critical care, and general inpatient respiratory services.

Responsibilities

• Providing critical care and respiratory support, including NICU care if assigned
• Utilizing equipment like ventilators, blood gas analyzers, and high-flow devices
• Floating across hospital units, primarily RT coverage in hospital and ED
• Adhering to unit-specific protocols and documentation requirements

Requirements

• At least 2 years of experience, with 3 months within the last year
• Proficiency with Epic
• Travel only assignment; candidates must live more than 100 miles from the facility
• COVID vaccination required (religious and medical exemptions accepted)
• Prior staff or current employees at the facility within the last 12 months are ineligible
• Two manager references from within the last 12 months required
• Completion of pre‑employment modules may be needed; upload certifications for expedited onboarding

Qualifications

• Active license and AA completion
• Certifications: BLS, RRT or CRT, ACLS, PALS, NRP (8th Edition)

Schedule

• Must be able to work variable shifts, every other weekend, and holidays
• Up to 7 days off can be requested; full contract hours expected
