Respiratory Therapist - Part time Nights

About the role

The hospital is a critical illness recovery facility dedicated to providing world-class inpatient post-ICU services to chronically ill patients. Respiratory Therapists (RTs) are integral in delivering compassionate and excellent care throughout the recovery process.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate patients and recommend appropriate treatment plans.
• Provide respiratory care to patients with critical and complex medical and surgical conditions.
• Insert and remove endotracheal tubes as needed.
• Promote continuous quality improvement in respiratory therapy practices.
• Teach and counsel patients and families about respiratory care.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Must hold an Active CRT or RRT credential from the NBRC or state equivalent.
• Proof of graduation required: college transcript/diploma (preferred), high school transcript/diploma, or GED.
• Must have current state licensure.
• Required to have ACLS certification upon hire.

Qualifications

• One (1) year of related experience is preferred.

• Strong clinical judgment and decision-making abilities.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
