About the role
Join a dedicated healthcare team as a Respiratory Therapist (RT), responsible for providing direct patient care in all aspects of respiratory therapy based on physician orders. Act as an advanced resource for physicians and nursing staff, consulting on therapy effectiveness and performing assigned duties to support patient recovery.
Qualifications
- Experience preferred, especially in critical care settings
- Graduation from a CoArc-approved Respiratory Care program
- Current Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential from the NBRC
- State licensure as a Respiratory Care Practitioner (RCP)
- PALS required in Emergency Room
- ACLS preferred
Skills
- Proficiency with respiratory care devices and equipment
- Ability to perform physical tasks including pushing, pulling, gripping up to 50 lbs., and minimal kneeling, crouching, or crawling
