Our team of skilled respiratory therapists works collaboratively with physicians and other healthcare professionals to deliver high-quality care, including advanced diagnostic testing, therapeutic interventions, and patient education. We utilize the latest technology and evidence-based practices to manage and treat a wide range of respiratory conditions, ensuring our patients receive the best possible outcomes.

About Corewell Health Taylor Hospital

Corewell Health Taylor Hospital is a 148-bed hospital that is a recognized healthcare leader in the metro Detroit area. Proudly serving Taylor and surrounding communities since 1977, it offers specialty services including:

• 24-hour emergency care
• Wound care and hyperbaric oxygen therapy
• A surgical pavilion
• A pain management clinic
• Orthopedic surgery
• Inpatient rehabilitation facility
• Full-service radiology, including advanced CT with cardiac scoring, Fixed MRI (including pacemaker compatibility), cinema vision, and ultrasound (MSK & elastography)

Responsibilities

Under minimal direction, the Registered Respiratory Therapist:

• Implements and evaluates diagnostic and therapeutic respiratory services to assist physicians in the diagnosis and management of patients with cardiopulmonary and related disorders
• Participates in the education of patients, students, staff, and physicians
• Provides technical support for all equipment related to the practice of Respiratory Care
• Assists with general department functions

Requirements

• Associate's Degree in Respiratory Therapy (required)
• Respiratory Therapist License - State of Michigan (required upon hire)
• Respiratory Therapist Registry - NBRC National Board for Respiratory Care (required upon hire)
• Basic Life Support certification through the American Heart Association or American Red Cross

Pay

$10,000 sign-on bonus for qualified external hires.

Schedule

• Full time, 36 hours per week
• Midnight shift (Night shift)
