The Registered Respiratory Therapist II position at Kapi'olani Medical Center for Women & Children plays a crucial role in providing professional, compassionate respiratory therapy care to patients and their families. Responsibilities

• Provide professional, compassionate respiratory therapy care to patients and their families.
• Deliver cardiorespiratory and related services.
• Serve as a technical resource on all aspects of respiratory care.
• Collaborate with health care professionals across the continuum of care to provide quality therapeutic and diagnostic respiratory care.
• Incorporate evidence-based practice and state-of-the-art technologies in practice to improve patient experience.

Requirements

• Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) by the National Board for Respiratory Care (NBRC).
• Current American Heart Association Health Care Provider Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) and Pediatrics Advanced Life Support (PALS) CPR cards.
• Current Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification.
• Current Hawai‘i State Respiratory Therapist License.

Qualifications

• One (1) year respiratory care or related experience preferred.
