Registered Respiratory Therapist II - Respiratory
SUMMARY OF POSITION
Leads and participates in the day-to-day activities of the Respiratory Services Department and monitors the general activities of its satellites. Monitors, evaluates, and coaches Registered Respiratory Therapists daily performance and productivity. Adjusts staffing levels according to the Respiratory Clinical Information System (RCIS) crewing guide.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATION(S)
- Licensed to practice as a Respiratory Therapist by the state of employment required
- Current certification in ACLS
- Two (2) years of experience as a respiratory therapist
- One Active Specialty Credential (NPS, ACCS, C-NPT, AE-C, C-PFT, RPFT, PALS, or NRP)
- AHA BLS required prior to orientation completion
PREFERRED QUALIFICATION(S)
- ACLS and PALS certification
- NRP required within six (6) months of hire
