Respiratory Therapist II - Part Time Evenings

Role: Respiratory Therapist II responsible for delivering advanced respiratory care, medication administration, and patient assessment in complex clinical situations, primarily in critical care settings. Key Duties: Perform ventilator management, airway procedures, arterial blood gas analysis, and provide patient and family education. Collaborate with healthcare teams to plan and execute care, mentor new staff and students, and participate in quality improvement initiatives. Ensure safety and compliance with policies, promote evidence-based practices, and support a positive team environment. Qualifications & Skills: Associates or Bachelor’s in Respiratory Therapy; NBRC-RRT certification; current BLS, ACLS, PALS, NRP, and other relevant certifications. 0-2 years of clinical experience, with at least 6 months in critical care. Strong communication, critical thinking, customer service, and computer skills are essential.
