Respiratory Therapist- GIG/Flex/Per Diem/PRN - Mercy Washington and Surrounding Communities

About the Role

Performs direct patient care in all aspects of respiratory care, according to physician's orders. Consults physicians on effectiveness of therapy. Acts as an advanced resource person for physicians and nursing on respiratory care. Performs duties as assigned.

GIG Program Details

• RRT: $35/hr base rate
• CRT: $30/hr base rate
• Variable shift incentives available
• Flexibility in day or night shifts—whatever works for you
• No weekend, holiday, or shift requirement
• 4, 8, or 12 hour shifts available
• W-2 Employee

Qualifications

• Education: Graduate of CoArc approved Respiratory Care program
• Licensure: Meets state licensure requirements and has a current Respiratory Care Practitioner (RCP) license
• Certifications: Hold the Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) or Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT) credential awarded by the National Board for Respiratory Care (NBRC). For co-workers who work in the Emergency Room: PALS and ACLS are required
• Experience: Must have one year of experience, not to include time on orientation
• Physical Demands: Push, pull, and grip up to 50 lbs; pinch up to 10 lbs; kneel, crouch, and crawl minimally
• Equipment Used: All appropriate respiratory care devices
• Preferred Experience: Critical care experience
