Respiratory Therapist - Full Time - Nights

Position: Lead Respiratory Therapist RRT - Nights Location: Elmhurst, IL Role Overview: The Lead Respiratory Therapist oversees daily shift activities, coordinates staff, ensures compliance with patient care standards, and manages department performance and budget. They provide leadership, assess patient needs, assist with procedures, resolve equipment and procedural issues, and address patient, physician, and nursing concerns. Qualifications & Skills: Required education from an accredited Respiratory Therapy program, current CPR, RRT, NALS, PALS certifications, Illinois DPR license, and at least 3 years of respiratory therapy experience; NEO/NICU and PFT experience preferred. Responsibilities: Organize shift activities, adjust workload as needed, lead staff, support assessment and treatment protocols, and resolve operational issues.
