Respiratory Therapist - Full Time - Nights

Role: Lead Respiratory Therapist Responsibilities Coordinate daily shift activities, manage staff, and ensure adherence to patient care standards, performance improvements, and budgets.Adjust work assignments based on workload fluctuations and address procedural or equipment issues.Provide leadership, assist with assessments, and initiate orders following patient protocols.Resolve patient, physician, and nursing complaints, reporting incidents to the Department Director. Qualifications & Skills Graduation from an accredited Respiratory Therapy program and registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential.State licensure as a Respiratory Care Practitioner in Illinois.Current CPR, ACLS, NRP, and PALS certifications.Experience in Level 3 NICU care. Key Duties: Oversee shift activities, ensure quality patient care, resolve issues, and lead staff in a clinical setting. The role requires strong leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills, along with relevant licensure and certification.
