Respiratory Therapist - Full Time - Nights

Position: Lead Respiratory Therapist RRT - Nights Location: Elmhurst Hospital Responsibilities Coordinate daily shift activities and assist staff in performing job functions.Plan and organize respiratory therapy staff schedules, ensuring patient care standards, departmental performance, and budget compliance.Adjust work assignments based on workload fluctuations and unexpected events.Provide leadership, conduct assessments, and initiate orders per patient protocols.Resolve procedural or equipment issues and address patient, physician, and nursing concerns, reporting incidents appropriately. Qualifications & Skills: Graduation from an accredited Respiratory Therapy program.Current CPR, RRT, NALS, PALS certifications, and Illinois DPR Respiratory Care Practitioner license.Minimum of 3 years of respiratory therapy experience; NEO/NICU and PFT experience preferred.
