Respiratory Therapist - Full Time Nights

Role Overview Provides direct patient care related to respiratory therapy, including assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation, adhering to hospital and department guidelines. Demonstrates advanced clinical expertise, serving as a resource within the patient care team, and ensures patient safety through developmentally appropriate, high-quality care that complies with regulatory standards and quality initiatives. Key Responsibilities Communicates effectively with the healthcare team through documentation and handoffs.Educates patients, families, and staff on respiratory treatments and procedures, utilizing diverse teaching methods.Performs diagnostic and therapeutic respiratory procedures following established standards and guidelines, troubleshooting as needed.Supports advanced clinical tasks such as ECMO, mechanical ventilation, bronchoscopies, sleep studies, and cardiopulmonary rehab.Continuously seeks professional growth through feedback and learning opportunities. Qualifications & Skills Associate degree in Respiratory Therapy from an accredited program; Bachelor's degree preferred.Licenses & Certifications: Respiratory Care Practitioner (RCP), Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT), Basic Cardiovascular Life Support (BLS).No prior experience required; ability to perform multiple related duties with effective time management.
