Respiratory Therapist - Full Time Flex - (6:30p - 7a) Newark - $10K Sign On Bonus

About the role

The Respiratory Care Department at Christiana Hospital provides service for both Christiana and Wilmington hospitals. Respiratory Therapists work in various units including critical care, medical-surgical floors, and emergency care. The department is known for its involvement in innovative therapy and research.

Responsibilities

• Provide respiratory care services to patients in various hospital settings.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure patient care quality.
• Adhere to current standards of care and maintain certifications.

Requirements

• Graduate from a CoArc approved School of Respiratory Therapy.
• Hold a valid Respiratory Licensure in the state of practice.
• Maintain a current BLS Certification.
• Preferred: Current AARC Member.

Qualifications

• Experience in a clinical setting is preferred but not required.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills are essential.

Skills

• Proficiency in respiratory equipment and techniques.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Effective problem-solving and decision-making skills.

Pay

This position pays between $39.50 and $54.31 based on experience.

Schedule

Full time, 72 hours on 3rd shift/overnight. Every 3rd weekend and holiday required. Rotations occur between Christiana Hospital and Wilmington Hospital.
