About the role

Mercy South is seeking a Registered Respiratory Therapist to provide respiratory care services under the direction of a licensed physician and medical director.

Responsibilities

• Performs direct patient care in all aspects of respiratory care, according to physician's orders.
• Consults physicians on the effectiveness of therapy.
• Acts as an advanced resource person for physicians and nurses on respiratory care.
• Performs duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Education: Graduate of a CoArc approved Respiratory Care program.
• Licensure: Current Respiratory Care Practitioner (RCP) license.
• Certification: Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential from the National Board for Respiratory Care (NBRC).
• Experience: Critical care experience preferred.

Pay

$20,000 sign-on bonus available for Registered Respiratory Therapists (RRTs).
