Respiratory Therapist - Days or Nights

About the role

We are seeking a Respiratory Therapist to provide comprehensive respiratory care, including oxygen therapy, diagnostic testing, ventilation support, and patient education for diverse patient populations.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and wean oxygen and artificial ventilation
• Analyze arterial blood gases and EKGs
• Assist with airway management
• Deliver ordered treatments in accordance with policies
• Review clinical information and adapt communication to patient needs
• Ensure compliance with legal and safety standards

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree in respiratory therapy (bachelor’s preferred)
• 2 years of experience
• Current state license as a Respiratory Therapist
• NBRC certification
• BLS and ACLS certifications
• Knowledge of computer systems
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills
