Respiratory Therapist - Days/Nights

We are seeking a Respiratory Therapist to provide comprehensive respiratory care to patients of all ages, including oxygen therapy, diagnostic testing, ventilation support, and airway management. The role involves monitoring and weaning oxygen and ventilation, analyzing arterial blood gases, and assisting with procedures as ordered by physicians. Qualifications include an associate’s degree in respiratory therapy (bachelor’s preferred), at least 2 years of experience, and a valid state license. Certifications required are NBRC credentials, BLS, and ACLS (within 90 days); NRP is preferred. Key skills involve computer proficiency, effective communication, and strong interpersonal abilities. Responsibilities encompass performing routine and advanced therapies, documenting clinical information, educating patients and staff, conducting diagnostic procedures, and ensuring compliance with legal and safety standards. Physical demands include heavy exertion and exposure to biological hazards.
