About the Role
We are seeking a qualified Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT) for a travel role in a healthcare facility. The role involves delivering respiratory interventions and routine care for patients with conditions such as asthma, COPD, and pneumonia.
Responsibilities
- Implement treatment plans
- Perform diagnostics and patient assessments
- Administer treatments like oxygen therapy
- Monitor equipment and respiratory treatments
- Record patient progress and maintain accurate documentation
- Educate patients and families on respiratory therapies
Qualifications
- At least one year of recent CRT experience
- NBRC CRT certification
- Valid state license
- Current BLS certification
Preferred: Additional certifications such as ACLS or PALS.
Skills
- Critical thinking and interpersonal communication
- Ability to read, write, and follow instructions in English
- Physical ability to move equipment and assist patients
- Excellent motor, sensory, and mental skills
