- Salary Range: $36.00–$43.00 per hour. Compensation may vary based on experience, skills, education, and applicable credentials.
- On-Call Transparency: Approximately 4 on-call days per month. Mix of phone support and patient home visits.
What You'll Do
- Conduct home visits to perform oxygen, CPAP/BiPAP, and ventilation equipment setups and follow ups.
- Educate patients and caregivers on equipment use, cleaning, troubleshooting, and maintenance.
- Assess patient needs, document care delivered, and escalate concerns appropriately.
- Respond to hospital discharge requests and support patient needs.
- Collaborate with physicians, case managers, and internal branch teams.
- Maintain accurate documentation using iPad/laptop.
- Set up and operate various types of respiratory care equipment, including, but not limited to, oxygen therapy, nebulization therapy, apnea monitoring, suctioning, PAP, invasive and non-invasive ventilation.
- Inspect and test equipment to ensure proper operating condition.
- Perform clinical assessments and tests such as pulse oximetry, ETCO2, spirometry and gathering vital signs.
- Perform other duties as required.
What We Look For
- Respiratory Therapist with an active CO and WY RT license.
- CRT and RRT credentials considered.
- Minimum 5 years of Respiratory Therapy experience.
- Minimum 2 years of Home Healthcare/DME experience.
- Ability to stand, lift, push and/or pull objects ranging from 10 – 50 lbs.
- Valid driver's license.
- Comfortable using mobile technology, navigation tools, and digital documentation.
- Graduate of an accredited Respiratory Therapy program.
- Hold a current RCP license in the state of practice (or states that the location covers) if that state requires an RCP license to allow the practice of respiratory therapy.
- Hold a current CPR Certification.
- Hold all applicable licensure in good standing for all states of practice.
