Assignment Details
- Position: Respiratory Therapist (RRT)
- Contract: 13 Weeks
- Hours: 35 Hours/Week
- Start Date: ASAP
- Employment Type: Travel/Contract
Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality respiratory care to patients across various acuity levels
- Assess, monitor, and manage patients with respiratory conditions
- Administer respiratory treatments and therapies as ordered
- Operate and monitor respiratory equipment, including ventilators and oxygen-delivery systems
- Assist with airway management and emergency respiratory interventions
- Collaborate closely with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals
- Accurately document patient assessments, treatments, and responses
- Maintain a safe, compassionate, and patient-centered care environment
Ideal Candidate
- Licensed/credentialed Respiratory Therapist
- Strong clinical assessment and critical-thinking skills
- Experience working in an acute-care hospital setting preferred
- Comfortable caring for patients with varying respiratory needs
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Reliable, adaptable, and ready to thrive in a travel assignment
