About the Role
The Respiratory Therapist (RRT) provides critical respiratory care in an acute hospital setting, including administering treatments, managing ventilators, performing pulmonary diagnostics, and responding to emergency events. Ideal candidates are detail-oriented team players with strong communication skills, accustomed to high-acuity environments.
Responsibilities
- Administer respiratory treatments and manage ventilators
- Perform pulmonary diagnostics
- Respond to emergency events
- Develop and implement care plans
- Document patient care in the EMR
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams
Requirements
- Valid Respiratory Care Practitioner (RCP) license
- Current Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification
- Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) certification from NBRC
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification within 60 days of hire
Qualifications (Preferred)
- At least 2 years of experience as a Respiratory Therapist
- Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification
- Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification
- Associate or bachelor’s degree in Respiratory Therapy or related field

Pay
$37.00 to $49.80 per hour, including shift differentials
