About the role
Join a dynamic Respiratory Therapy team providing patient evaluation, care, and education in a hospital setting.
Responsibilities
- Assessing patient needs and developing personalized treatment plans based on diagnoses.
- Administering prescribed respiratory therapies and monitoring patient progress.
- Implementing and adjusting care plans, evaluating medication and treatment outcomes.
- Educating patients and families about health conditions and community resources.
- Maintaining and calibrating equipment, managing inventory, and ensuring sterilization protocols.
- Responding to medical emergencies and performing advanced respiratory procedures.
Qualifications
- Associate’s degree in Respiratory Care or equivalent experience.
- Licensed and certified as a Respiratory Therapist (RRT), with required state-specific licenses.
- Strong communication, physical stamina, and ability to work in a constant alert state.
- Physical ability to perform lifting, bending, and patient handling tasks.
Schedule
This role is part-time, night shift, with opportunities for shift differentials.
