Respiratory Care Supervisor, Atrium Health University City, FT Nights
About the role
This position is a full-time, benefits-eligible role at Atrium Health University City - Respiratory Therapy Services. The position is sign-on bonus eligible and works nights, 36 hours per week, with some weekend requirements.
Responsibilities
- Adheres to hospital standards to maintain a collegial work environment.
- Provides leadership to staff to meet short and long-term goals.
- Develops standards of performance and utilizes employee strengths.
- Ensures patient care respects their rights and preferences.
- Maintains privacy, confidentiality, and security for patients and staff.
- Maintains a high level of clinical expertise in respiratory therapy.
- Promotes a culture of safety for patients, self, co-workers, and facility.
- Monitors quality, safety, and outcomes, implements performance improvement measures.
- Assists with policy and protocol development or changes.
- Develops and implements orientation and educational offerings.
