Respiratory Care Spec PRN-Student Position

About the role

Under the guidance of the Team Leader, and/or Supervisor of Respiratory Care, the RCS/Student will serve as a member of the healthcare team by providing assistance with caring for the appropriate patient population.

Responsibilities

• Provide respiratory care, such as electrocardiograms, and non-invasive therapy, as ordered by physicians, according to established standards and practices.
• Perform a variety of duties relative to cleaning, disinfecting, and storing respiratory therapy equipment and restocking of supplies.

Requirements

• Basic Cardiac Life Support required
• Associate Degree
• (NBRC-RRT) Registered Respiratory Therapist, or (NBRC-CRT) Certified Respiratory Therapist must be obtained within 6 months of employment start date
