Respiratory Care Practitioner - RRT (36 hrs. Nights)

About the role

Provides respiratory therapy evaluation and patient care, administering prescribed treatments and monitoring patient progress.

• Assess patients to determine appropriate treatments and develop care plans based on diagnosis.
• Execute respiratory care services following physician orders, policies, and guidelines.
• Implement, monitor, and communicate patient care plans and equipment usage; perform advanced respiratory modalities.
• Evaluate treatment outcomes and medication administration effectiveness.
• Educate patients and families about health conditions and available community resources.
• Assist with equipment maintenance, calibration, inventory management, and sterilization.
• Respond to medical emergencies and rapid response situations.
• Perform other duties as assigned, working in a safe, alert manner.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree in Respiratory Care or equivalent experience.
• No prior experience required.
• Licenses/certifications: BLS Healthcare Provider, RRT, and state-specific respiratory practitioner credentials.

• Excellent communication skills.
• Ability to stand, walk, lift, and perform repetitive movements.
• Strong visual, auditory, and olfactory senses for patient care and safety.
