About the Role
This position is for experienced Respiratory Care Practitioners (RCPs) with at least one year of acute care clinical experience. Pay
Pay range minimum: $39.49, midpoint: $52.33, maximum: $65.16. Rate of pay is determined by factors including knowledge, skills, competencies, experience, education, and position requirements.

Requirements
- Minimum one (1) year of clinical experience in acute respiratory care.
- Graduate of an accredited two (2) year Respiratory Therapy Program.
- Successful completion of acute care training and competency.
Qualifications
- Required Licensure: Basic Life Support, Neonatal Resuscitation Provider – Advanced (NRP), Neonatal Resuscitation Provider – Essentials (NRP), Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS), Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), Registered Respiratory Therapist, Respiratory Care Practitioner-CA.
- Preferred Experience: Greater than two (2) years of clinical acute care experience; previous pediatric/acute care respiratory experience.
- Preferred Education: Associate or Bachelor of Science/Arts degree.
- Preferred Certification: Certified Asthma Educator, Neonatal Pediatric Specialty.
Work Environment & Physical Demands
- Functional Demand: Medium - High energy level.
- Lifting/Carrying: Lift and carry 40-50 lbs; push/pull +/- 150-200 lbs (e.g., patients on bed or stretcher); lateral transfer 150-200 lbs.
- Physical Activity: Bending, carrying objects, climbing, keyboard use/repetitive motion, pinching/fine motor activities, push/pull, reaching forward/overhead, sitting, squatting/kneeling/crawling, standing, talking/hearing, twisting, walking, wrist position deviation.
- Lifting Frequency:
- Floor to waist level: Constant (67% or more), Frequent (36-66%), Occasional (0-35%).
- Waist level and above: Constant (67% or more), Frequent (36-66%), Occasional (0-35%).
- Sensory Requirements: Color discrimination, depth perception, far vision, hearing, near vision.
- Environmental Conditions: Airborne communicable diseases, bloodborne pathogens, chemicals, dust/particulate matter, extreme noise levels, extreme temperatures, radiation, uneven surfaces or elevations.
Schedule
Night shift – 12 hours.
