About the role

We are seeking a Respiratory Therapist to deliver basic and advanced respiratory care to adult and geriatric patients, including those with respiratory diseases.

Responsibilities

• Assess patient respiratory needs and administer therapies such as aerosol, oxygen, and ventilator support.
• Perform pulmonary function tests and assist with specialized procedures like bronchoscopies.
• Document treatments and ensure equipment safety and functionality.
• Serve as a resource for medical staff regarding respiratory techniques and best practices.
• Work independently, supervise others, and contribute to quality improvement efforts.

Requirements

• Graduation from an approved Respiratory Therapy Program.
• Valid Respiratory Care Practitioner (RCP) license.
• Certifications in BLS, NRP, ACLS, and PALS.

Skills

• Strong knowledge of respiratory care practices and equipment maintenance.
• Ability to educate patients and medical staff on respiratory techniques.
• Excellent problem-solving and independent working capabilities.
