Respiratory Care Practitioner (Full-time, Evening Shift)

Responsibilities

• Provide basic and critical respiratory care for adult and geriatric patients, including aerosol, oxygen therapy, arterial blood gases, and ventilator management.
• Assess and document therapy appropriateness, assist with cardio respiratory procedures, and monitor equipment.
• Support patient and family education on respiratory conditions.
• Participate in training, supervision, and quality control of respiratory services.
• Ensure compliance with infection control and safety protocols, including ventilator bundles and VAP prevention.
• Maintain accurate records, assist with equipment setup and maintenance, and serve as a resource for medical staff.

Qualifications & Skills

• Graduate from an approved Respiratory Therapy Program.
• Licenses include RCP license; certifications such as BLS, NRP, ACLS, PALS required at hire or within 90 days.
• PREFERRED: NBRC-RRT or CRT credentials.
• Strong assessment, communication, and teamwork skills essential.
• Ability to work independently and supervise others.
• Commitment to safety, quality, and patient care excellence.
