Responsibilities
- Performs diagnostic and metabolic testing
- Assesses patients and develops treatment plans
- Provides therapeutic interventions and reports clinical responses
- Collaborates with the medical staff and other healthcare team members
- Supports efficient, cost-effective, and quality patient care
- Provides patient and family education and discharge planning
- Participates in performance improvement activities, continuing education, and professional growth
Requirements
- Licensed Respiratory Therapist (KS), Kansas State Board of Healing Arts
- Reg Respiratory Therapist (NBRC), The National Board for Respiratory Care
- Associate Degree
Qualifications
- Less than 1 year of applicable experience
