Job Summary
A RCP III is a Registered Respiratory Therapist who has been validated by successful completion of the National Board for Respiratory Care (NBRC) requirements for professional RCP license by the Texas Medical Board and have minimum of 4 years of work experience in respiratory care.Minimum Qualifications
- Degrees: Associates Degree; Graduate of Respiratory Care program accredited by the commission on Accreditation for Respiratory Care (CoARC) or other accrediting body approved by the Advisory Board. Bachelor's Degree Preferred.
- Licenses & Certifications: -Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) from the National Board for Respiratory Care. - Basic Life Support from the American Heart Association (AHA). -ACLS from the American Heart Association (AHA). -Respiratory Care Practitioner from the Texas Medical Board. -NRP from American Association of Pediatrics (AAP) is required if working on Neonatal Unit.
- Work Experience: Four (4) Years Work Experience in a Respiratory Care Department as a practicing therapist in the; IMU, Emergency Center and All Adult ICUs (Or) Neonatal ICU.
- Language Skills: Bilingual preferred
- Communication Skills: Above Average Verbal (Heavy Public Contact), Exceptional Verbal (e.g., Public Speaking), Writing / Composing (Reports)
