Reg Resp Care Practitioner

About the role

Provides care to all patient populations for therapeutic purposes. Provides bedside diagnostic procedures as needed. Reviews and maintains respiratory care plans. Performs evaluations on patients and adjusts the care appropriately.

Responsibilities

• Graduate of a respiratory therapy program
• Obtain entry level certification and maintain a valid Registered Respiratory Therapist credential from the NBRC
• Maintain a current Ohio State license for Respiratory Care Practitioners
• Maintain current certification in CPR
• Must have ACLS and NRP certifications or obtain within 6 months from date of hire or transfer; PALS and Stable preferred but not required
• Able to be on call
• Able to lift 30 pounds
